TOGETHER MORE
A Secure Attachment Lab:
Building, Maintaining & Amplifying Secure Attachment to Self & Others
3 weekend retreat immersion, in the Tahoe National Forest
March 28-29, April 25-26, May 30-31, 2026
An invitation
When we feel truly met,
our bodies soften.
our breath deepens.
life feels more possible.
Secure attachment is a self-reinforcing collaboration between two nervous systems.
Together More is a three-weekend relational skills immersion devoted to understanding and embodying what secure attachment actually is, in action, not just in theory, and how to live with more of it, together.
What This Is
We are built for connection.
Many of us learned instead how to survive relationship.
Together More is a space to re-orient toward thriving.
When the relational conditions of presence, care, and responsiveness are reliably embodied, co-regulation strengthens itself over time.
We practice how to:
be present with our own experience in the moment
express presence and care without managing, performing, or “helping”
co-create warmth and ease
grow enjoyment without forcing or bypassing
This is not self-improvement.
It’s relational skill building.
Presence, clarified
Presence is not effort.
Not performance.
Not being “regulated enough.”
Presence becomes available when the nervous system feels supported.
We slow down.
We notice.
We stay.
We are not extracting, implying a need for outcome, or passing judgement.
Attachment, without pathology
We all carry patterns—
ways of reaching, bracing, withdrawing, adapting.
Not as problems.
As intelligent responses.
I have grown weary of how commonly I hear people claim an attachment style as sort of identity or battlescar to hang a hat on. In reality, thanks to the nature of neuroplasticity, these patterns are not static. We can change our behavior, and neurochemistry, if we know what to practice instead of a familiar and unsatisfying response.
In Together More, we explore how these patterns shape the closeness we experience—and practice what we can actually do instead.
With choice.
With kindness.
Without forcing ourselves into discomfort.
Nervous-system–informed
Polyvagal theory, attachment theory and education about the autonomic and parasympathetic nervous systems are woven throughout as a living framework.
We learn:
how safety and connection arise in real time
how ventral vagal states support play, curiosity, and pleasure
how to gently shift out of survival responses
Feeling better together is not a demand.
It’s a byproduct.
The arc
Weekend One — Presence
Clarifying what presence actually is and what sometimes looks like presence, but isn’t felt by the other as such. We learn to stay connected to inner experience, and navigate desires to activate or deactivate connection. We explore experiences of intrusion vs. accompaniment within ourselves.
Weekend Two — Togetherness
Practicing how presence becomes relational: co-regulation, attunement, pacing, and the skills that help connection feel safer and more easeful. Navigating presence during conflict. Preventing rupture from becoming attachment injury.
Weekend Three — Amplification
Learning how to intentionally grow what feels good: supporting ventral vagal states, relational vitality, and the inner “pharmacy” of warmth, play, and pleasure. How to use your body to communicate availability. Delight is an important theme.
Simple.
Cumulative.
Integrative.
The space
We gather in our retreat dome—a space designed and built by our family specifically for this work.
Beauty matters.
Sunlight matters.
Being held by the environment matters.
The ventral vagal system responds to care and aesthetic coherence.
The room itself supports settling, openness, and connection.
The space is part of the practice.
How we’ll work
Together More is experiential, relational, and grounded in nervous system science, attachment theory, and somatic practice.
You can expect:
guided experiential exercises
simple, clear teaching
individual reflection
dyadic and small group practices
a pace that honors safety and choice
You will never be asked to perform, disclose beyond your capacity, or feel a certain way. Your authenticity and choice are key.
This is not about self-improvement or fixing what’s wrong.
It’s about creating the conditions where thriving becomes more available.
Thriving is natural—when the conditions are right.
Who this is for
Together More is for individuals, couples, and practitioners who want:
more ease in relationship
deeper presence without strain
practical, usable relational skills
an experience that is warm, intelligent, and alive
You don’t need to be fixed.
You don’t need to arrive calm.
You just need curiosity and consent to practice.
